I’m drawn to this work because I know how easy it is to lose connection with yourself while trying to push through, overthink, or hold everything together. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful and self aware, but still feel stuck in patterns that are hard to shift on their own. You might be moving through a life transition, trying to make sense of who you are becoming, managing ongoing stress or anxiety, or dealing with a body that feels tense, overwhelmed, or impacted by chronic illness or pain.
Therapy with me is active and collaborative. I am not just listening, I am paying attention to how your patterns show up in real time, asking questions that help slow things down, and working with you to notice what keeps you circling the same places. I take an eclectic approach, drawing from different perspectives while also paying attention to your environment and the day to day context you are living in, since what is happening around you often shapes what is happening within you. At times, we may bring in body awareness or creative exploration like movement or art to help you access parts of your experience that are harder to put into words. I tend to work best with people who are curious about themselves and open to trying things, even when it feels unfamiliar. My goal is to help you move in a direction that feels more aligned with the life you want to build.
When I’m not in session, I enjoy dancing, traveling the world, and finding my way to a good brunch spot somewhere along the way. I like being outside, asking about the coolest places people have been (and adding them to my travel list), and staying curious about the human experience.

Some things you may hear me say in session…
The best way to stay present is to stay curious.
Do you really “not know” or is it too hard to say?
People can only meet you as deeply as they have met themselves.
If you don’t pick a time to rest, your body will pick a time for you.
Quotes I love that say something about my work…
“People may forget what you do or say but they'll never forget how you made them feel.” ~ Maya Angelou
“What a privilege it is to be tired in the pursuit of a challenge of your own choosing.”
