Megan Cisowski
Masters Level Therapist
Green Door Therapy
(She/her/hers)
Megan offers a warm, affirming, and client-centered approach to care. She enjoys working with adults and teens and is especially passionate about supporting members of the LGBTQIA+ community and neurodivergent individuals in an inclusive and collaborative therapeutic space.
Megan has experience in both private practice and community-based settings, including supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, children in outpatient therapy, and individuals impacted by trauma, such as domestic violence. She approaches this work through a trauma-informed lens, emphasizing safety, empowerment, and respect for each client’s lived experience.
She creates a welcoming space where clients can explore identity, process past experiences, and move toward healing and growth at their own pace. Her style is collaborative and supportive, grounded in the belief that therapy should feel safe, validating, and empowering. Megan values meeting clients where they are and helping them reconnect with what feels most authentic and meaningful to them.
Megan also welcomes clients who are curious about spirituality in a non-doctrinal sense, including creative, symbolic, or process-based explorations of meaning, purpose, and inner experience. This may include reflecting on values, intuition, imagination, or personal belief systems as part of a client’s healing and self-understanding, always guided by the client’s comfort and consent.
Outside of the therapy room, Megan enjoys reading, attending live music events, and exploring astrology.
