Megan is currently completing her Master of Science in Clinical Psychology at Benedictine University and is thrilled to be joining Green Door as a Therapist Intern from May 2025 through December 2025. Under the supervision of Green Door Co-Owner and Therapist Brooke Madera, LCPC, CADC, Megan brings a strong foundation in psychological theory and counseling skills.

Megan has experience working in both therapy practice settings and community-based environments serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and children in an outpatient therapy setting. She is particularly passionate about supporting the LGBTQIA+ community and is looking forward to expanding her work with teens and adults.

Her therapeutic style is warm, inclusive, and client-centered. Megan values creating safe, affirming spaces for individuals from all walks of life to explore their identities, heal from past experiences, and grow into their most authentic selves.

Outside the therapy room, Megan enjoys reading, attending live music events, and exploring astrology.

Megan is currently accepting new clients and offers sliding scale counseling sessions ranging from $25–$50 per session. She is also able to accept BCBS PPO, Cigna, and Aetna insurance plans.

Megan is available for client sessions via Telehealth on Mondays and Wednesdays 2-8p and In-person on Saturdays 8a-2p.
