Job Position: Administrative Assistant
Green Door Therapy is looking to hire an individual to join our team as an administrative assistant. This position will be part-time (around 20 hours/week) with the opportunity for growth. This position will be hybrid (virtual and in-person responsibilities at our Elmhurst office).
Salary:

Starting range of $18-24 per hour based on experience and with opportunity for growth and advancement to salaried position.
Experience:

High school or equivalent (preferred)

Previous experience with insurance companies/benefits (preferred)
Why Green Door Therapy?: Green Door Therapy is a small group counseling practice that provides individual and relationship counseling to adults and teens in-person (in the Chicago western suburbs) and via telehealth to Illinois residents. Duties/Responsibilities:

Manage intake calls
-
Communicating with staff regarding referrals and scheduling

Check insurance benefits for new and existing clients
-
Communicate with clients as well as staff regarding client insurance information
-
Manage intake paperwork and ensure client information is accurate
-
Communicating with staff regarding client issues and questions
-
Maintenance of office site supplies, organization, gathering mail, depositing checks, running errands and other tasks needed
-
Attend staff and administrative meetings and trainings
-
Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work is required
-
Collaboratively working with other team members to ensure client’s have a positive and supportive experience

Running payments, submission of claims, follow up of insurance issues

Data collection and data entry
-
Engage in website, social media and marketing
-
Participate in cross training in a variety of administrative duties

Must maintain confidentiality of all potential, new, and current clients by adhering to the requirements of HIPAA

Must demonstrate effective and consistent time management

Must be organized and detail oriented

Must value collaborative work and be a team player

Must be capable of working independently on assigned and expected tasks

Must have strong written and verbal communication skills

Must have reliable transportation

Must be comfortable with in person office involvement, as needed

Must be fully vaccinated or willing to provide a negative covid test result prior to any in-person involvement

Must have strong and positive interpersonal skills

Job Position: Therapist (part-time with potential to grow into full-time)
***Currently providing teletherapy and in-person therapy
Qualified candidates will be:
-Masters level degree or higher
-Licensed clinician (LCSW/LCPC/LPC/LSW/Psychologist)
-Availability to work evening and weekend hours
-Trained in, experienced with, or have willingness to gain knowledge in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
-Experience in leading groups and/or interest in running groups in an outpatient therapy setting.
-Preferred: Have one niche market for counseling services (couples, adolescents, etc).
-Spanish speaking therapists encouraged to apply.
